Located directly inside the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft national park, you have an overnight stay in the health spa in Zingst, between the Baltic Sea and Bodden. The wide range of sporting activities guarantees recreation and relaxation.

Experience the fantastic sunrise at Pramort during a guided photo workshop. Afterwards, you and your children may want to explore the sports beach in Zingst, where you can learn how to stand-up paddle on the Baltic Sea and enjoy a sundowner on the calm sea at the end of the day.

The next day, the whole family goes on a biking tour along the European Cycle Route, through the small fishing villages in the direction of Ahrenshoop. This artists’ colony is extremely popular with artists because of its tranquillity and special light. In Zingst, a historic Zeesen boat with its big red/brown sails hoisted is waiting for you. In the past, this special kind of sailboat was very popular with the Bodden fishermen.

If you want to experience even more culture, take a trip in a classic car to the Hanseatic city of Stralsund and look out for the navy training ship, the Gorch Fock. Afterwards, a night watchman will divulge his secrets to you during an exciting tour. The day then comes to a relaxing end with delicious culinary specialties.

Travel information for a relaxed journey

Regional and intercity trains from Hamburg (via Rostock) or Berlin (via Stralsund) go the Ribnitz-Damgarten West. Regular buses take you to various destinations on the peninsula. Motorway A19 (from Hamburg) and A20 (from Berlin) followed by A-Road B105 lead right to the peninsula. A regional airport offering scheduled flights is located in Rostock-Laage.
