Afterwards, you and your children may want to explore the sports beach in Zingst, where you can learn how to stand-up paddle on the Baltic Sea and enjoy a sundowner on the calm sea at the end of the day.

The next day, the whole family goes on a biking tour along the European Cycle Route, through the small fishing villages in the direction of Ahrenshoop. This artists’ colony is extremely popular with artists because of its tranquillity and special light. In Zingst, a historic Zeesen boat with its big red/brown sails hoisted is waiting for you. In the past, this special kind of sailboat was very popular with the Bodden fishermen.

If you want to experience even more culture, take a trip in a classic car to the Hanseatic city of Stralsund and look out for the navy training ship, the Gorch Fock. Afterwards, a night watchman will divulge his secrets to you during an exciting tour. The day then comes to a relaxing end with delicious culinary specialties.
