Join us for an exclusive peek behind the scenes at Vindeholme, Pederstrup, Lungholm and Fuglsang. In your own car you will visit these wonderful manor houses - a unique experience, which will take you back in history. For 4 days packed with culture, you can inhale the very special atmosphere, the beautiful scenery and the unique and elegant surroundings oozing history and presenting you with good food, pleasant company and delightful gatherings.

Peek behind the scenes

The tour starts Thursday afternoon at Vindeholme Castle, where are you welcomed by the lady of the manor with a personal introduction to Vindeholme’s fascinating history. Later you will enjoy dinner in the charming dining room and round off your day in the elegant salons.

Following a leisurely morning walk in the woods, you will continue to the Reventlow Museum at Pederstrupfor a light lunch. After a good meal you will be acquainted with the fascinating and rich history of Prime Minister Count Christian Reventlow and his revolutionary reforms within agricultural and schooling, which were instrumental in shaping Denmark as we know it today.

At Lungholm Castle, the steward will welcome you in the late afternoon with the opportunity to hear about and taste 4 local wines, which have won great international recognition. After dinner you can relax in the atmospheric living rooms, take in a game of pool or go exploring in the baron's bar cabinet.

On Saturday time has been set off for you to enjoy the day at leisure. The landscapes of Lolland offer rich opportunities for recreation; go for a walk in Maribo’s Nature Park, beer tasting at Krenkerup Manor’s brewery or take in some shopping.

After a nice day, we meet at Fuglsang Manor House for coffee / tea and cake. Afterwards you will have ample time to dress for dinner, which will bring you back to 1910. The staff will serve you in the magnificent banquet hall wearing period uniforms, while the evening's pianist will entertain you with 20th century music on the grand piano.

You fly to Denmark via international airports (Copenhagen) and hire a car and drive towards Lolland via Zealand and Falster through the Guldborg tunnel from Zealand. You can also take the ferry from Spodsbjerg-Tårs on Langeland from the Jutland side. By car from Europe, you arrive at Lolland via the ferry in Puttgarden towards Rødby.
